Training and Coaching Services
Training is provided through presentations/workshops to groups of any size and during Staff Development, at grade level or department meetings.
Coaching is taking what has been learned and applying it to their specific element: The classroom, security, deans, other.
Restorative Practices fits into a Multi-Tiered System of Support.
Tier 1 is proactive. It supports all students in building a strong sense of community through positive relationships. It creates a restorative community were all stakeholders feel safe, welcomed and staff are able to support their students development of social and emotional skills.
Tier 2 is reactive. It helps restore after a harm or conflict has occurred. It helps to address the root cause so healing can begin as it ensures students are held accountable and take ownership of their actions.
Tier 3 is Re-entry. It ensures that students who have been removed from the community are welcomed back to start anew.
